I recently stayed at Backpacker in Galle for a few nights and had an incredible experience. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and were always there to help with anything I needed. The location of the hostel is perfect - nestled in a beautiful jungle setting, yet just a short stroll away from the city center and the fort. I loved enjoying my morning tea with a stunning view before heading out to explore. I would definitely stay here again!

The double room at Backpacker Galle Hostel was amazing! The air conditioning was a game-changer on those hot days, and I loved chilling on the balcony, enjoying the view. It was a perfect setup for a relaxed traveler like me.

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the kitchenware in the triple room. But hey, that's just me.

I always return to this cozy place. The staff gave me a local taxi tip on my first visit. It has all I need: free Wi-Fi, parking, AC, laundry, coffee shop, picnic area. Coming back this weekend!

The owners were super friendly and welcoming! The bed in the private room was really comfortable and the air conditioning was a relief from the heat. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the fort. Plus, the hostel had a kitchen and fridge available for use, which was really handy. The powerful shower with hot and cold water was a big plus too.

There were a few minor things that could be improved. The room could have used a small mirror, a rubbish bin, and curtains for the window.

It had air conditioning, which was amazing because the weather was super hot. The balcony was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the views.

I got amazing value for my money at the Backpacker hostel in Galle. The private room was comfortable with a great bed and air conditioning. And let's not forget the little balcony with its comfy seating, such a nice touch! this place was a 10/10 for me and I would 100% stay again!
